West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper said:

“Only emergency dentistry is carried out at Skelmersdale walk in centre and this will continue to be the case after the Primary Care Access Centre is fully operational in Ormskirk which will also provide dentistry from 8am to 8pm seven days a week with a provision for emergency care until 10pm."

"I understand that the pharmacist who has the contract to provide the service at the walk in centre has indicated that he no longer wishes to continue with the contract. I have received assurances from NHS Central Lancashire that this service will continue to be provided."
