Rosie Cooper MP

Working hard for the people of West Lancashire

On hearing the news of the fire local MP Rosie Cooper said:

“I am incredibly saddened by the news of this fire at the Greenhill community centre. Over the past few years the centre has become the focal point of activity for many local people as well as groups and organisations. I regularly use the centre for my advice surgeries.”

“It is a much needed resource which many local residents fought over many years to secure for local residents. The fire is a real set back but the all the hard work and the goodwill that has been built up must not be lost.”

"The most encouraging signal for the local community will be to see from the council a real a desire to get the centre open and up and running as soon as possible. The next couple of months are an important time for the Greenhill community centre.”
