Rosie Cooper MP met with Consumer Affairs Minister, Ian McCartney to discuss proposals for rogue estate agents to face tougher regulation.
"I like what I heard from Ian McCartney today. It's time for the rogue estate agents to face tough action. Buying a house is a big decision to take and a stressful time. The last thing you need to worry about is a dodgy estate agent."
"I am sure all the reputable estate agents in West Lancashire will welcome this cracking down on those people that give their industry a bad name.”
Consumer Affairs Minister, Ian McCartney, said:
“It was really good to talk to Rosie. I understand their concerns about dodgy estate agents and am committed to acting on this as a priority”.
