West Lancashire MP, Rosie Cooper welcomed Government Minister, John Healey to meet with local business leaders.
The meeting discussed issues and challenges faced by local businesses and discussed government action and the real help now for business,
Business from across West Lancashire had an opportunity to discuss face to face their ideas and the measures they would like to see in the forthcoming budget.
MP Rosie said:
“I was delighted that John Healey was able to talk to local businesses both large and small from West Lancashire. He promised to feed relevant views into the heart of Government as part of the budget process."
“Businesses shared their views on their specific experiences; their views on banks and the current level of lending. Even in these challenging times there are positive signs with local businesses keen to invest money to grow their businesses and expand their workforce.”
Local Government Minister John Healey MP said:
