Rosie Cooper MP

Working hard for the people of West Lancashire

As Remembrance Day approaches local MP Rosie Cooper is encouraging West Lancashire Veterans to claim the war medals they are entitled to.

The veterans Medal will recognise the contribution that our ex-service men and women have made act as a reminder to younger generations of what their parents and grandparents did.

The Veterans Medal, like any medal can only be a small token of the huge debt we all owe the wartime generation. I encouraging veterans to claim their medals is a really good opportunity for us to give out thanks to those who served.

Rosie Cooper said:

¡§I want everyone who served during the war to claim the Veteran¡¦s Medal they are entitled to."

Who is entitled to a medal:

„X All men and women who served in the UK Armed Forces in the First World War and Second World War

„X Veterans of the Suez Canal Zone 1951-54
