WEST Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper visited Crow Orchard Primary School in Old Skelmersdale last week.
The MP was given a tour of the school by headteacher Ann Hedges and has the opportunity of meeting with the School Council.
Crow Orchard, on Mill Lane, is the former Endowed School and is one of Skelmersdale’s oldest buildings - pre-dating the New Town by more than 200 years!
Rosie said: “I had a lovely time at Crow Orchard, talking to the pupils and staff."
“As soon as I walked through the door the school had a real, friendly feel to it, and I think that is partly down to the fact that it is such a small site."
“I was really impressed by the pupils, who were very polite and asked me some very interesting questions about my role as MP for West Lancashire."
“Afterwards, I spoke to the headteacher and we talked about how we could work closely in the future.”
