ARE YOU GETTING THE BEST ADVICE AND INFORMATION FOR YOUR FAMILY, COME ALONG TO ROSIE COOPER’S ADVICE AND INFORMATION DAY

On Friday 9th December West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper is hosting a Community Advice and Information Day between 10am and 2pm at the Ecumenical Centre in Skelmersdale, supported by E.ON.

In the current times many families face tough decisions and are not always sure where to go for the best advice and information at a free event for local residents.  MP Rosie has brought together a whole range of organisations for residents to speak to about:

• Pensions and Benefits Health Checks
• Money Management Advice
• Health and Wellbeing checks
• Help with energy costs
• Making your home safer
• Giving your child the best start
• And much, much more.

West Lancashire MP Rosie said:
“For many people and families in West Lancashire these are difficult times and people are feeling the pinch.  I want to ensure that people have access to the organisations that can offer them some advice, information and support that will make it a little bit easier.  Whether it is advice about getting back to work, finding the right training opportunities, how to manage your money, help to reduce those energy bills as winter arrives.  I want to ensure that local residents have got the best advice, access to all the support they are entitled to and are getting value for money.

“There is something here for people of all ages and with different needs.  So I am encouraging all local residents to pop along on the day.  It could make a real difference for you and your family.”

Many national and local organisations have been invited to attend and will have a stall with experts on hand to speak to residents and offer specific advice for their individual needs.  This is the first Rosie Cooper MP Community Advice and Information Day.
