Rosie's campaign to provide a much needed cemetary for West Lancashire

I have campaigned with local residents and members of the local clergy demanding that West Lancashire Borough Council provide new burial grounds and a crematorium in West Lancashire to allow residents to lay their loved ones to rest nearby. The lack of a cemetery has forced residents to Liverpool, Southport and St Helen’s where they have to pay up to £1000 extra for a burial plot. Finally a new cemetery and crematorium are to be built at a site in Pippin Street, Burscough. I am continuing to campaign for a cemetery in Skelmersdale
