Rosie's Campaign for Skelmersdale's Regeneration
|
I believe that we should be as ambitious for the people and the estates of Skelmersdale as we are for the town centre. In October, I held the first Skelmersdale Summit at Hope House in the heart of Little Digmoor. Representatives from the Homes and Communities Agency, North West Development Agency, Government Office North West, Lancashire County Council and West Lancashire Borough Council were invited. The summit discussed how working together the agencies can address the needs of Skelmersdale residents in the 21st Century including long-term solutions for the housing estates and the open spaces. |
