Sure Start Centres
Do you agree with Tory proposals to cut £200m from the Sure Start budget that would close 1 in 5 centres?

Rosie's campaign for new urgent care facilities in Ormskirk
|
In 2007, I was promised by the Prime Minister an Urgent Care Centre for Ormskirk. I am delighted that work is now completed on the new £3 million health facility at Ormskirk Hospital that will improve the dental and health services for the people of West lancashire. The new centre will be doctor-led, offering services from 8am to 8pm seven days a week with appointments and a drop-in service at Ormskirk Hospital. This makes it easier to access health services at a time convenient to you and your family. This is a massive improvement. Only three years ago the hospital had huge debts and was threatened with merger. I have always fought hard for improved local health services. West Lancashire residents deserve nothing less. |
