West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper apologises to constituents because of a technical fault affecting phone lines within the constituency office.
Whilst the issue has been reported to BT, callers may find that office staff are unable to hear anything through the line.
Constituents are being asked to ring back again until the line can be heard as this is an intermittent problem.

“This has been a problem for over a week now and it is unacceptable. I have work to get on with and cases to resolve for my constituents but having a faulty phone line is hindering my office’s ability to help constituents.
“It is also frustrating for those constituents who have to keep calling back.
“This fault has been raised with BT on several occasions but it remains unresolved. Quite simply, this is an unacceptable level of service for BT customers.
“I can only apologise to those constituents who have been trying to get in touch.”
