Labour Parliamentary candidate Rosie Cooper was re-elected for a third term to represent the people of West Lancashire.
Rosie retained her seat, increasing her majority by 4,017 to 8,360 beating the Conservatives into second place.
Speaking after her successful re-election, Rosie Cooper said:
“Thank you to the people of West Lancashire for re-electing me to carry on working hard for them.
“I am very privileged and humbled by the increased majority and the trust local people have put in my to represent them to be their voice in Westminster.
“Whist I am absolutely delighted, I’m also determined to continue working hard for the people of West Lancashire and to fight for the Borough’s interests.
