West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper is encouraging West Lancashire schools to apply to the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club awards with prizes of £1500 for the winners.
The Kellogg’s awards celebrate the importance of breakfast clubs and the role played by teachers, parents and children. Schools can make a submission in the following award categories:
promoting a healthy lifestyle
community involvement
best breakfast club
breakfast club hero award
MP Rosie said:
“I would encourage all West Lancashire schools breakfast clubs to enter the Kellogg’s Breakfast Clubs awards.
“There is a lot of fantastic work going on in breakfast clubs. These awards are an opportunity for West Lancashire schools to showcase the brilliant work they doing and for them to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.”

The closing date for applications is 12 October 2015 and is open to all breakfast clubs. Winning entries will receive a prize of £1500 and runners-up get £500 plus a host of other prizes.
