The practice also has close links with Edge Hill University and recently attended a health and wellbeing event on campus.

Not content with just delivering dentistry individual members of the team have taken the time to promote oral health in Africa. They have also spent considerable time on helping to raise money for many worthy charities both locally and nationally.

Mark Ray said; ‘Ravat & Ray Dental Care understand the need to have an integrated approach to the delivery of Primary Care services.  We are very proud of the team in Ormskirk and what they have done in the last 12 months and we are sure they will exceed expectations in the next year ahead’.

Rosie Cooper said; “When I campaigned for the extra NHS dental places for West Lancashire residents, I wanted to ensure that people had access to good quality NHS dental services.  In Ravat and Ray they have that service.

“I would like to thank Mark Ray and Martin Weavers and the whole dental practice staff for their time.  It was great to have the opportunity to once again visit the practice now to see how they are doing.”

“It was a chance for me to discuss constituent’s issues, any challenges facing the practice and to see the quality facilities that they offer to their patients.  The positive response to the Friends and Family survey is a testament to the quality of service on offer.”

“I also learnt a lot about how the dental practice is truly a part of the local community through their outreach work and fundraising activities for a range of charities.”

“For anyone struggling to get an NHS dental place I would encourage them to get in touch with this practice.”

“Ravat and Ray are an integral part of our NHS dental provision in West Lancashire and provide an invaluable service to local residents.”
