West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper is pleased to support a new campaign from the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund titled Join the Search. Change a Life. Instead of seeking to raise money, the campaign aims to find hard to reach beneficiaries and support them.
The campaign is set to spend £100 million over the next five years, specifically targeting those who require help but have not yet come forward whether this be due to a lack of awareness or other reasons.
As we lose the Second World War and National Service generation, it is estimated that up to 300,000 members of the RAF family could be in need of support. Join the Search. Change a life aims to do exactly that.
West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper said:
“Join the Search. Change a Life is a fantastic campaign which will provide the support to our West Lancashire veterans that is undoubtedly deserved.
“However, it will only be as successful as we make it. It is essential that we make our veterans aware of the support available to them and how to access it.”
