Retail trade union Usdaw has welcomed Well Pharmacy’s decision to pay a 10% premium payment to frontline pharmacy and Home Delivery Driver teams.
Daniel Adams, Usdaw National Officer says:
“It’s a particularly challenging time for all those working in the pharmacy sector at the moment. The country is reliant on the essential service they provide and they deserve our support, respect and appreciation more than ever. So we very much welcome Well’s recognition of the work they are doing in difficult times.
“We continue to work with Well to ensure employees’ health and wellbeing are protected throughout these unprecedented times. We also reiterate our call on customers to stay calm and respect all workers who are providing vital support to the public through this crisis.”
